Dawn M. Guillory: Of Counsel
|
Dawn served as Judicial Intern to the Honorable Jennifer Walker Elrod of
the 190th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas. She is licensed to
practice law in Texas and before the United States District Court for the
Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
Dawn primarily focuses her practice on Mass Tort Litigation. Most recently
she assisted in managing a docket of over 1, 500 cases filed on behalf of
plaintiffs injured while taking pharmaceutical drugs which resulted in a
multi-billion dollar settlement. She also has experience with personal
injury, wrongful death, family law and securities fraud. Her goal is to
pursue justice for those individuals unwillingly harmed through the
negligent actions of corporations, product manufacturers and other persons.
She is a member of the American Association for Justice, Texas Trial
Lawyers Association, Fort Bend County Bar Association and Delta Sigma
Theta.
Dawn graduated cum laude from Dillard University where she
was named the Department of Political Science Top Scholar.
She then earned her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University
New Orleans, School of Law in 2005 with a certificate in both
Common Law and Civil Law. While in law school, Dawn was
a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, Delta
Theta Phi Legal Fraternity and was sworn in under the
Louisiana State Bar as a Student Practitioner in the Loyola
Law Clinic.
